BinkJet Updater 2.0 to 2.5 revision 1.0

This updater is primarily for use if you have the registered BinkJet driver through a bundle offer such as the BeOS 5 Pro from Gobe, or we do not have your current contact information if you purchased through BeDepot.

This updater will not work with the demo version of the driver.

In the event that something goes wrong... (Trouble shooting tips)

A) It doesn't matter where on your system but before step 1 make sure you have the following files all in a single directory:
	"READ ME FIRST"
	"BUILD BINKJET 2.5 INSTALLER"
	"patch"
	"patchData"

B) If at step 4 you do not have the "binkjet25-reg-x86.zip" file then make sure you have the correct updater. If you are running on Intel (x86) hardware you should have downloaded the updater with the name "binkjet20to25-x86.zip". If you are running on PPC hardware (either Mac hardware or a BeBox) then you should have downloaded the updater with the name "binkjet20to25-ppc.zip".

C) If at step 4 you do not have the "binkjet25-reg-x86.zip" file then make sure you have the registered (not demo) driver located at:

	/boot/home/config/add-ons/Print/BinkJet v2.0

If it is not there then you need to put it back in place:

* For Gobe CD owners get your Gobe BeOS Pro 5.0 CD and copy the BinkJet 2.0 driver to the above location. You can find the registered driver on the CD at:

	/BeOS 5 Pro Edition/home/config/add-ons/Print/BinkJet v2.0

* If you purchased the BinkJet 2.0 driver online then get your BinkJet 2.0 installer and reinstall that driver on your system. Then start over from step 1 above.

D) If at step 5 the expansion gets an error it's likely you do not have the registered version 2.0 driver located at:

	/boot/home/config/add-ons/Print/BinkJet v2.0

Follow the above tip C on how to ensure you have the correct driver in place and then start over from step 1 above.

E) If the above trouble shooting tips did not clear up the problem then please contact technical support for help.
